RSVPs - include or not??

I'm not sure whether I will include RSVP cards with my invites - what is the trend nowadays? Do a lot of people include them or do they ask for text or email replies? Any suggestions?

I would imagine the trend nowadays is not to include them, I know we didn't. We just put our phone numbers, emails and our website address on the invites and people RSVP'd through one of them.

The wedding website tool here on WeddingFace has a RSVP form that guests can fill out and it sends you an email letting you know their response.

I think this or a text is easiest as the people don't have to post the letter back to you!

Yeah we didn't do them either cause our friend did and she said she just ended up chasing people asking them to post their replies which kind of defeats the purpose.

My suggestion would be to get them through email & text. As the other poster said, if you do your wedding website through WeddingFace your guests can reply through the RSVP page and it sends you an email. Just put the website address on your invites so your guests know it.

I wouldn't bother, save yourself a bit of money. we didn't, just said rsvp to our phones and we had a wedding website so people could also rsvp there which was great. Have 2 weddings in may and got rsvp cards for both but didn't send either back as by the time one invite came the rsvp date had passed!! i just rang to confirm. its kind of traditional so i guess its up to you but i'd say most people don;t even bother replying by card. be interesting to see what others think

Myself and my fiance have been thinking about this one also....I tihnk we might be swaying in the direction of the wedding website through Weddingface and popping our mobile numbers on the invites also. Not doing the RSVP's can save some money which can be spent no something more important.
