Wedding band

Not getting married till 2013 but I think the band/music is so important at a wedding as it sets the tone for d nite, anyone have any suggestions of a good wedding band in the Munster area, no clue where to start :(

i went to see the bentley boys. they were good but not worth the money. they were very expensive. goodfellas are good 2 but also expensive.

Ocean six are good, i have booked Conor Mc Keon, they are a swing band from Dublin, not the cheapiest but worth the money!!

i would look on the site showcase cork its great he has a list of bands for weddings and a list of there gigs for the next two months pick a time and place convienet to you and go see each one :)

we had neilly o connor and his band from killarney, €1500, they were brilliant, had eveyone on the floor, even uncle jimmy who hasnt danced since 1976 lol, def a great band, made our wedding, and he always has a few surprises, even we didnt know about.

The Bottle Brothers are brilliant, based in Waterford, great craic and they do the disco after finishing playing so whatever price you pay is the whole lot rather than paying band and seperate DJ

We're getting married in 2013 and booked Red Effect they're on the Showcase website they regularly gig in Cork city and county, worth a look

we booked the band Ultrasound after seeing them live in a pub in Dublin. They travel nationwide. The frontman is so energetic and really interacts with the guests. ome people mite not like him because he can come across a bit cheeky but if your looking for an upbeat band that really gets stuck in they are brilliant!

we are getting married in 2013 and booked simon casey and his band. there are five of them in the band. but can get him and a three piece band. the five piece including dj is 2500. well worth the money. have seen him twice at different weddings.. excellent

Try Shine (www.shinetheband.com). They are very easy to deal with and were flexible in what you wanted to play.
