Wedding Invitation dilemma

Hi ladies,

We have all our wedding invitations printed and ready to be sent and recently found out that two of the couples we are inviting have split up. I think it's a bit unfair for us to have to specd more money to reprint them as they were done in the UK. Advice please?

Hi MitzySue, do you or your h2b have any PC skills? Could you run up something similar in microsoft word and then print them out?

Or would the company you got the invites off send you out two more with the new text?

That's probably a good idea PennyL but you really couldn't send invites to your friends with their ex's names on them if they've broken up! If you're not good with IT I'd either get them re-printed or buy a pack of shop-bought invites and send them those instead!

Understandable that you don't want to have to go to the expense of getting more invitations printed up, although keeping in mind that both couples are more than likely going through a hard time during their break ups. Why not just go into a stationers and buy a nice pack of invitations and send them to the individuals instead, im sure they will understand why they are not getting an "official" one. Or like PennyL suggests above, maybe ask the company that printed them for you would they be able to print up 4 more invitations for ya, explain to them the situation and maybe they might do it as a good will gesture
