Day after Wedding

Hi All,

Just wondering if people have anything planned for the day after their wedding? I've been asked by a few family memebers what/if we have anything planned. We hadn't really given this much thought.

Is this the norm that happens? If so, does anyone have any ides of what to do? We are on a budget so don't really want to spend much.

Thanks in advance! :-)

We had a BBQ the next day (our wedding was in August). It gave everyone a chance to relax as its less formal than your actual wedding day and you can spend more time with your close friends and family (which you sometimes dont get on your wedding day!).

Was thinking about something like that but our wedding is on the long weekend in October so not sure if the weather would allow a BBQ.

OK so defo somewhere inside then! Well how about having a bit of a party in someones house and having people around?

We were at a wedding in Druids Glen on the weekend and the couple had a BBQ the next day that was organised by the hotel so maybe your hotel might be able to do something for you. by DubHub 10 months ago

Hi, the best thing to do is pick a pub that yous both enjoy going to. Tell people to meet yous there around 6 or 7 the following evening. Most pubs will do free food and entertainment cause you are bringing in a crowd that are going to buy a lot of drink!! You should definitively do something the next day as yous will be able to relax and enjoy your friends and families company more than the actual day of the wedding.
