In late 2008, he noticed that the cost and quality of work in the industry he once worked in was rather mixed. Quality product usually demanded a very high cost, while a low cost usually resulted in a very poor quality product for the customer. With the easily accessible nature of technology, it seemed that many thought they were experts in the Digital Video area. This is not always the case. As Derek will testify, it takes years to learn the craft of camera work and editing. Real creativity means that less is usually more. The over use of technology can often ruin a project.
Derek has now decided to combine his professional services with a low cost price to the customer quite simply because it's what a changed society now demands.
